Its moisturising

What exactly is Holy Basil? I have trialled the product but does simply seem to be a very creamy moisturiser. I prefer day creams to have some sort of SPF & night creams to get to work while I sleep. The jar will last a long while as you do not need a lot but I found it was simply a moisturizer and did not see any other claimed benefits
